ABOUT
The Since'86 art movement was created by artist Adrian Stupica to make art move by using apparel as a mobile canvas. Originally from northeast Ohio, Stupica's relocation to New York City brought the realization that painting canvas not only limited the reach of his work, but was challenging to store. He pivoted his paintings onto apparel and as people took notice, Stupica realized he had created an art movement. The Since'86 moniker represents the amalgamation of Stupica's life that has led to this creative moment and honors the story that started with his birth.
Stupica has collaborated on apparel projects with notable clients like Beyonce's stylist Ty Hunter, Olympic powerlifter Donovan Ford, and Project Runway alum Valerie Mayen. Additionally, Stupica has created canvas commissions for clients, painted two public murals in Manhattan, and has had his designs displayed on banners in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York for two consecutive years.
